Hermitage of St. Ursanne
A late Renaissance gate which bears the date 1688 leads to the foot of a
tall stair case - with about 200 steps. At the top of the stairs the visitor will
find the hermitage nestled in the cliffs above the Collegiate Church. Beside
the grotto where, according to legend, the saint once lived, is a late Gothic
chapel which was rebuilt in 1621.
